We are currently searching for a User Researcher Lead for one of hour project in the beautiful Barcelona!

As a  User Reseacher Lead you will define and implement the user research strategy, design,

plan and execute research of different programs and coordinate a team of user researchers.

You will be integrated in Customer Experience & Design organization (CED), that has the

purpose to deliver meaningful end to end experiences to our customers, and it is integrated

by designers of all disciplines: visual designers, interactions designers, industrial design,

digital designers, customer and user experience, user research…

HP Large Format organization located in Sant Cugat has the company worldwide

responsibility for the LF printing business. As all HP, the person must be committed to

enable a sustainable, inclusive, and diverse work environment.

Responsibilities & Development areas:
Lead a small team of researchers ensuring the execution of the plans on time, at the
desired quality while being a source of inspiration and role model for the team
members.
Define and implement Research strategy for the Large Format business. Being at the
state of the art of new methodologies for being imported to the business.
Design, plan and execute research plans for different projects at different stages of
development
Analyze and report research findings (user behavior) to different stakeholders
Evangelize user-centered thinking and research best practices to reinforce a culture
of informed, data-driven, and empathetic decision-making
Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to properly connect user
research with the rest of the HP WW organization.

Education and Experience Required:

• Degree or PhD in Human Factors, ergonomics, cognitive psychology, usability, human
  computer interaction, design or equivalent field.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a people in a dynamic environment.
• Worked on user research for at least 2 years conducting user research and usability
  testing for digital products or solutions

Knowledge and Skills:

• Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative user research methods. Eg.

Interviews, surveys, card sorting, usability testing, benchmarking, diary studies,

ethnography, AB testing, among others

• Strategic mindset. You can find a balance between user and business needs and

identify opportunities that can result in new revenue streams

• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, ability to influence others

and conflict resolution

• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills

• Ability to collaborate closely & influence design leaders cross geographies to drive

innovation and deliver consistent user experience

• Ability to build strong relationships based upon trust

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation,

and influencing skills (mastery in English required)

• Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in

applications and technologies
