Job description

We are searching for a talented UI Designer that will be based in sunny Barcelona! The position is for an agile and passionate digital designer to join an international team working on a series of exciting solutions inside a Worldwide organization.

Location: Sant Cugat (Barcelona)

Contract: Hybrid - twice per week in the office

You will be working in a small and agile design team with a Start up atmosphere, where quick testings and learnings will be key. The collaboration with the numerous developers involved in the projects is very close. We see that personality wise you must have a ‘can do’ attitude and problem solving skills. Teaming up with you there will be a Customer Experience expert that you will work seamlessly with. And you will have a tight connection with the product manager team and Customer Success team.


Your main responsibilities will be:

● Understand business requirements aligned with user expectations, interpretate how to best fulfill these needs, and design and elaborate the user experience of the best fitted solution

● Quickly and iteratively produce sketched concepts, user journeys, wireframes and interactive prototypes that reflect user needs

● Create any materials such as wireframes, all level fidelity prototypes etc for testing and ideating with users, and from there explore the success of the design proposals. Commonly you will be asked to in a speedily and agile way test, validate and draw conclusions to reach optimal designs in a swift manner.

● Generate product design from high level concepts to detailed ‘pixel perfect’ UI screens

● Teamwork with business stakeholders (Customer Experience Lead, Product Management, Customer Success team, Developers).

Requirements

Required skills and essential experience:

● 4+ years industry experience in a UI/Interaction/Visual role

● A portfolio that shows application of your skills to complex real-world projects with proven successful outcomes

● Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator

● Expert knowledge of UX best practices and techniques

● Flexibility and adaptability

● Self-motivated, with a willingness to take responsibility for projects and development

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) - you will be comfortable selling design concepts to people from various backgrounds and levels of seniority

● Negotiation and influencing skills

● Ability to balance the needs of the business with those of our users

● Knowledge in using analytics and metrics to make informed design decisions
